Workshop Young Citizens’ Assembly: Participation, Inclusion and Democracy in Europe

Clara Serrano (Institute of Education - ULisboa | UIDEF) and Sérgio Neto (Faculty of Arts and Humanities - University of Porto | CITCEM) facilitated a Workshop on “Young Citizens’ Assembly: Participation, Inclusion and Democracy in Europe”. 

Among other topics such as climate change and mobility, the topic housing was selected by the participants to discuss it. After a deliberation where the participants had to put themselves in the shoes of those who were not represented at the assembly and speak on their behalf, a recommendation was approved by a majority vote and symbolically handed over to Dulce Lopes, the project coordinator.
